About Anna

My Story

At the age of 9, I met author Judy Blume and told her I wanted to be a writer. After graduating university, I applied for jobs at both publishing houses and production companies, leaving it to fate to decide which industry will get me. Film & TV won, so I became a producer of award-winning independent films that have played major international festivals. My films have also won several awards. I’ve worked on numerous projects for The Disney Channel, Discovery Channel, CBC and BRAVO! The desire to write never left me, and I returned to school, this time with the Humber School for Writers, honing my craft under M.G. Vassanji. My short stories have appeared in numerous publications. The Devil Wears Orange is my debut novel.
